Starting off December

The Big Thanksgiving Planning Session happened, starring yours truly as Hannibal Smith.
Alas, the plan did not come together.

My sister doesn't want to go at all.
My father offered to buy his way out of the trip.
Jonner, Ollie and Chris will all be in school.

So, Gabriel and I get to do a belated honeymoon/5 year anniversary trip.

Gabriel got on board and we figured out what we want:
Driving down Saturday, staying off property
Sunday, moving into the Boardwalk Villas (DVC rental). They are more expensive than the Animal Kingdom ones, but being in walking distance of two parks is worth the $15 a night.
A five day park pass is literally $20 more than a four day and allows more flexibility
The Dining Plan sounds like the best food option.

We talked about rides we want to do, and which shows to see. I caught a new Disney Food Blog episode that I have to show him. It made me cry with desperate wanting of something I've dreamed of for more than 40 years and now it's so close I can TASTE it. (Smuggler's Run for those coming late to the program. I am an old school Star Wars geek)

It's gonna be about $3000 or more.
So i am hard at earning. I've found a few new things

Where do I stand?
Swagbucks (surveys and videos): 3234 points ($32.34)
Smores (a lockscreen ad) 180 points ($1.80)
Coin Pop (games for points) 77378,  (182667 for $20)
Killi (get paid when your info gets sold, as it will): $0.15
Ibotta: no movement. I haven't been shopping
Lucktastic (scratch cards) $3.25 and 17869 points (375,000=$100, but 30,000=$5)
Shopkick: 1736 points, takes 12500 for a $50 Disney card
Lucky day (scratchers) 6.50 and 3million points ($2)
ko trivia 93562 points (not quite $10, takes 1240000 for $100, and 12,000,000for $1000)
46.04, if I could cash it all out.
We keep plugging
Irazoo: quit. The games quit working under my system

Patreon: always need more patrons.

Etsy, one order. Spending most of it to make it happen.

Mystery shopping: set up my December shops. Using most of November's money to make them happen. And I spent on a wreath and tree for Yule

Swaggering Toward Disney

Today we're talking about Swagbucks.
Swagbucks is a website where you do small tasks: watch videos, take surveys, play games, for points. They also give points back for online shopping. I use these on Ebay and Michaels and other sites. With the holidays coming, it's a great way to get a bit of a rebate.

These points can be redeemed for gift cards or Paypal payouts.

My referral code is http://www.swagbucks.com/refer/AngeliaSparrow

Here's how to make the most of Swagbucks:
1) Do the Daily Goal. Every day. One day gets you 3 points, 7 consecutive days gets you an extra ten points. Doing this every day compounds your earnings.

2) Do the poll. It's only one point, but it's only a couple seconds.

3) The daily discover often require you to buy something. But now and then, there are things  you can just sign up for: crochet newsletters, Pilsbury coupons. And you get a substantial number of points for these (15-40) If there are freebies, go for it.

4) Watch the videos. You don't have to sit and watch them. Let a playlist run while you cook, or take a shower. Feel free to watch, if some interest you. (Let them run at bedtime or while you're at work)

5) The Deal of the Day is never anything I am interested in. But you might be.

6) Surveys. These can be a huge time sink as you try to find one you're qualified for. But try the shorter ones with high points. We've done everything from simple online surveys to home product tests.

7) The Games. The free ones can give you a 10 point boost toward that daily goal. Like many flash games, they don't run under Google Chrome.

8) Shopping using swagbucks is only useful if you'd be doing the shopping anyway. Most places it's 2%. Spend $20, get 40 points. Watch for deals. WalMart is offering 10 points per dollar spent.

So, you've worked hard, and gotten a few thousand swag points.
Now it's time to redeem them. Always check the sale section first.

Right now a $25 visa card costs 2175 points. That's a 13% savings.
Paypal pays out $25 for 2500.
Amazon and Target have $25 gift cards for 2200 points.

I only have about 900 points, so I'm not buying yet. But I have plans we will discuss in another blog when I implement them.

Again, if you think this might be for you, here's my referral code. I get a kickback when you sign up and earn points.

Let's Set the Rules

I think we can get to Disney, using solely side-hustles.

Here are the rules:
1) We may sign up for new hustles.
2) We may maximize current ones
3) We will not buy stuff we would not ordinarily buy to get a rebate. For instance, we usually buy bananas and get an ibotta rebate. We almost never buy wine, so buying it for the shopkick (and only for the shopkick) is against the rules.
4) Doing these does not involve a second job. This is passive income, with two exceptions: Etsy and patreon.

We'll talk about each of the hustles and assess how each is doing. Stick with us, we're going to have some fun.

Important links for the Side Hustles I am using:

https://ibotta.com/
Cash back for buying ordinary things like bread and milk.
If you sign up, use the referral code wwmigfe

https://www.shopkick.com/
Gift cards earned by walking into stores, scanning bar codes and buying you usual stuff. This one actually gives Disney gift cards. It takes 6250 points to get a $25 card, and the walk-in is about 15 points.
If you sign up, use referral code MALL751055

 http://www.swagbucks.com/refer/AngeliaSparrow
Earn points that can become gift cards or paypal payouts. This does pay out. I've earned a Silhouette machine and other items

Patreon
https://www.patreon.com/NickRowan

Several levels of sponsorship. Stories every month, all new novel releases three months before the public gets them, and a craft item drawing every month.

Etsy

Handcrafted items, unique gifts. Order by Nov 10 for guaranteed holiday delivery.

I also do mystery shopping. I see a lot of chili dogs in my future.
